Khaleej Times will organise the first edition of its KT UniExpo Dubai, a flagship higher education exposition, at the Crowne Plaza Hotel on September 26 and 27.
At the KT UniExpo Dubai, students and parents will be able to explore various educational opportunities and work towards the desired career paths as they meet over 50 leading international and local universities from the UK, the USA, and the UAE.
Opening its doors to visitors at 10am, the KT UniExpo will feature many live features including career counselling sessions, a start-up competition whereby students can showcase their ideas in front of leading organisations, and explore different scholarship schemes.
Speaking about the initiative, Vicky Kapur, Executive Editor at Khaleej Times, said:
"Education is a high priority for the UAE, and government entities, including the Ministry of Education, are earnestly implementing the ambitious Education 2020 Strategy designed to significantly improve the quality of education within the country. Khaleej Times, the nation's first English newspaper, is keen to add value to the UAE's smart learning initiatives by presenting a platform with a global perspective and significance via the KT UniExpo."
Prospective students will have the opportunity to meet and engage with subject specialists from different universities to better understand the programme courses and scholarships on offer and get detailed explanations concerning any questions or issues they may have about choosing their higher education university before making a sound decision.
Shishir Kapadia, Senior Vice-President (Finance & Operations), Khaleej Times, stated: "With KT UniExpo 2019 nearly two months away, we are excited about the diverse line-up of higher education institutes taking part in this expo. Being the UAE's first English newspaper, we recognise the importance of education and knowledge enhancement.
"No matter your age, learning should never end. Through this expo, we intend to provide students within the UAE the opportunity to choose from a mix of top-notch local and international institutes to further their education," he added.
The event is free and open to the public. However, online pre-registration is highly encouraged to ensure quicker entry to the expo. This is available at www.ktuniexpo.com.
