Fog in UAE: Police issue warning after multiple accidents cause traffic jam in Dubai
Dubai Police called on motorists to drive with caution and follow the traffic rules.
Heavy fog and poor visibility has resulted in the slow movement of traffic in different parts of UAE on Sunday morning.
Dubai Police took to Twitter to report an accident on Sheikh Zayed Road near Emirates Towers station towards Abu Dhabi.

A stalled vehicle is slowing traffic on SZR in front of Emirates Towers station towards Abu Dhabi. Please drive carefully and safely.
At 10:15am, the Dubai Police warned motorists about an accident on Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Road near MCC towards Abu Dhabi. They have also suggested drivers to drive carefully and find alternative routes wherever possible.

In another tweet, the police advised drivers to stay cautious and that there would be low visibility due to fog for those driving in Al Aweer area.

According to Google Maps, an accident was reported on E66 Road near Bur Dubai caused tailbacks. Motorists are urged to take alternative routes to avoid long delays.
