Flights from Dubai International Airports are back on track after the earlier disruption caused by waterlogging in some parts of the facility due to heavy rains this morning.
"All flights from Dubai International (DXB) are now arriving and departing with minimal disruption. However due to significant flooding on the roads around the airport, we urge customers travelling from DXB today to allow for maximum additional time to get to the airport," the Dubai Airport said in a statement.
Earlier today, several inbound and outbound flights were delayed due to waterlogging in some parts of the airport brought about by heavy rains.
"Dubai International (DXB) is experiencing operational disruption and water logging in some parts of the facility due to the heavy rains this morning," a DXB spokesperson confirmed earlier to Khaleej Times.

"We urge customers to check for updated flight information on our website www.dubaiairports.ae or websites of their respective airlines. The safety and comfort of our passengers is our top priority and Dubai Airports is working with service partners at DXB to normalise operations and minimise inconvenience to our customers," the spokesperson added.
Customers can also call flight information on +971 4 2166666 to get updates.

The UAE woke up to a wet Wednesday morning as many parts of the country were drenched by rains of varying degrees.
