The service is accessible via DTC App.
Visitors to Global Village this year will enjoy low-cost cab rides if they book the service via the Dubai Taxi Corporation (DTC) app.
The Roads and Transport Authority's DTC recently signed a partnership with the festival park, making the agency the exclusive provider of taxi, limo and bus services to Global Village's visitors.
Special rates shall take effect as soon as the park opens for its new season on October 29.
"The agreement provides for DTC to exclusively deliver transit services to Global Village visitors, be it a regular taxi, family taxi, limo, Amira limo, convertible limo, and limo bike," said Dr Yousef Al Ali, CEO of DTC.
The app also provides transit services to clients from assembly areas to the entry points of Global Village through commercial buses operated by DTC.
The festival park's new season will be marked with 'massive improvements', according to Bader Anwahi, CEO of Global Village.
"Our aim is to improve customers' experience, shorten the time to access Global Village and save the time associated with the parking vehicles," Anwahi said.
