As the latest technologies change the way people work, the government will ensure that these new workplace trends are integrated with the UAE's goals and aspirations, the Dubai Crown Prince has said.
Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of The Executive Council of Dubai, recently met with the top executives of the emirate's government entities and stressed on the need to manage the transition effectively.
Sheikh Hamdan said having a clear vision is important so that Dubai can benefit from the new opportunities that these changes will bring.
"High levels of focus, commitment and team spirit are required to manage the transitional phase to ensure maximum gains for all," he added.
The Dubai government staff should also be equipped with all the knowledge and skills necessary to harness new technologies for improving productivity and service standards, Sheikh Hamdan said. "Dubai will not allow any challenges to hamper the achievement of its goals and aspirations."
Among those who attended the meeting were directors-general and executives of Dubai government entities, and Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Second Deputy Chairman of The Executive Council of Dubai.
