The motorist was inside the vehicle when it plunged from the parking area at Dubai airport's Cargo Village, Arabic daily Al Bayan reported.
The report added that the man was trying to stop his vehicle inside the parking lot, but couldn't, and fell from the third floor.
Brigadier Saif Muhair Al Mazrouei, director-general of the Dubai Police's traffic department, said that the operations room received information about the incident at 8am on Thursday morning, following which emergency vehicles were dispatched to the site.
Police said the car was being parked in reverse in the parking lot when driver failed to stop it, following which it broke through the wall and crashed to the ground.
A further investigation is being carried out.
