Dubai - Twisting design of unique bridge praised by Conde Nast Traveller.
The Dubai Water Canal Bridge has been named as one of the most beautiful bridges in the world.
Conde Nast Traveller magazine put the distinctive footbridge alongside other stunning bridges such as California's Golden Gate Bridge and the Glenfinnan Viaduct in Scotland.
The twisting design of the Dubai Water Canal Bridge was praised by the magazine for “evoking the movement and motion when crossing from one bank to the other”.
The third of three pedestrian bridges, the unique bridge is supported by a twisting truss and is representative of the future and the dynamic vision of Dubai as intrinsically tied to the notion of “tomorrow".
A kaleidoscope-like twisting truss envelopes the bridge path and visitors experience an ethereal passage from one canal bank to the other.
