Dubai: Travel time on Kite Beach Street cut by 10 minutes after roadworks, new parking spaces

Residents and visitors going to Kite Beach Street in Jumeirah will now face less traffic after road upgrades made by the RTA in the area, the authority announced on Thursday.

The authority upgraded the street from one lane in each direction to two lanes in the same direction.

Motorists will now be able to travel during rush hours within just five minutes compared to the previous travel time of 15 minutes.

The authority has also added additional parking spaces for visitors.

The changes aim to better the congested traffic flow on the street that is usually caused by parking and pedestrian pathways.
