Dubai Police organize function to honour drugs control agency

Speaking at the function held at the agency's headquarters, Acting Director of CID Colonel Khalil Ibrahim Al Mansouri praised the commitment and readiness shown by all members of the drugs control department in safeguarding the UAE from the dangers posed by narcotics.

“There is no longer a place for an incompetent or work-shy individual but only for the dedicated policeman who gives his best. That is what Dubai Police and its leadership expect from the drugs control agency in its fight against those who wish to wreak havoc on our youth and economy,” he said. Colonel Al Mansouri distributed awards and certificates to members of the drugs control team for their efforts during the past few months. A special honour was given to five policemen called 'the five patriots'.
