Countdown to 2026: Burj Khalifa, Palm, and more set for Dubai NYE fireworks

Dubai is preparing to light up the sky as it counts down to 2026, unveiling a citywide New Year’s Eve fireworks spectacle set to unfold across multiple landmarks and waterfronts.

From the Burj Khalifa in Downtown Dubai to Palm Jumeirah, Dubai Marina, JBR, Bluewaters Island, Al Seef, Global Village, Expo City Dubai and Festival Bay, fireworks will erupt across the city, offering residents and visitors a wide choice of vantage points to welcome the new year.

At the heart of the celebrations, the Burj Khalifa will once again host its signature midnight fireworks, accompanied by synchronised light and laser shows, Dubai Fountain performances, and giant LED screens across Downtown. Additional celebrations at Dubai Hills Estate and Dubai Creek Harbour will offer alternative viewing zones with dedicated facilities and parking.

Complementing the fireworks, Dubai’s New Year’s Eve line-up features entertainment across the city. Atlantis, The Palm will host an NYE gala headlined by American pop-rock band Maroon 5, while Dubai Harbour, beach clubs, hotels and public venues will stage concerts, DJ-led parties and gala dinners timed to coincide with the midnight countdown.
