Over 23,000 security personnel will be deployed for what officials are calling the most comprehensive New Year's Eve operation in the city's history

This 31 December, Dubai will dazzle with 48 spectacular fireworks displays across 40 different locations, up from 36 last year, to ring in the New Year 2026, the Events Security Committee announced in a press conference today.
To ensure the safe execution of this unprecedented pyrotechnic spectacle, the emirate will deploy over 23,000 security personnel and coordinate 55 government and private entities in what officials are calling the most comprehensive New Year's Eve operation in Dubai's history.
The massive celebration will be supported by extensive security, medical, and transportation infrastructure to handle the millions of residents and tourists expected to gather across the city.
