Earlier in the day, the Dubai Media Office (DMO) announced the operations at Dubai International Airport (DXB) will be temporarily suspended to ensure the safety of passengers, staff and airline crew.
It stated that all procedures are being managed in line with established safety protocols.
The move follows Emirates' decision to suspend its flights to and from Dubai until further notice. The UAE flagship airline has been operating limited services from Dubai and Abu Dhabi through safe air corridors.
In a following statement, the carrier said that all afternoon flights with confirmed bookings on March 7 will be resumed.
Minor incident
On Saturday, authorities in Dubai responded to a minor incident that resulted from shrapnel falling following a successful interception. No injuries were reported.
DMO has denied reports circulating on social media about an incident at DXB.
The UAE has been defending itself against waves of Iranian attacks since the beginning of the US-Israel-Iran war on February 28.
