Emirates airline has denied that it sacked employees who shot a behind-the-scene video and violated the company’s policy.
A video published on YouTube has gone viral where the airline’s cabin crew could be seen showing 'secret' behind-the-scene activities.
The 30-minute video published as 'Behind The Scenes as Emirates Cabin Crew — Things you DON’T see as a passenger' released last year, showed cabin crew going about their daily lives and performing duties.

The video — which was shot during a flight to Shanghai — has garnered around 1.3 million views.
“Emirates is aware of the video mentioned and had investigated the matter at the time. We can confirm that no crew was dismissed as a result,” an Emirates spokesperson said in a statement to Khaleej Times on Wednesday.
Some social media posts wrongly claimed that Dubai’s flagship carrier had sacked employees for releasing the behind-the-scene videos that showed staff arranging meals and carrying out other activities that passengers are not usually aware of.
There are behind-the-scene videos of other airlines’ cabin crew shared on YouTube as well which have gone viral and attracted over a million views.
Emirates Group’s total workforce grew by 10 per cent to 112,406 employees during the 2023-24 financial year, its largest size ever, as Emirates continued recruitment activity around the world to support its expanding operations and bolster its future capabilities, the airline said in its annual report last year.
