In line with the emirate’s commitment to inclusive celebrations, three Eid Al Fitr events will be organised at community labour markets, targeting approximately 30,000 workers. These events ensure that there is something for everyone to enjoy.
Park activities
As part of the Season of Wulfa, Dubai Municipality (DM) has revealed the three of Dubai's most popular parks will host special evening events on the first and second days of Eid. Mushrif National Park, Al Mamzar Park, and Zabeel Park will welcome visitors from 4pm to 7pm with live performances, including traditional sweet-making demonstrations and curated giveaways.
The evening timing allows families to enjoy the outdoor spaces during the cooler hours, creating a vibrant atmosphere for Eid celebrations.
For the first time this year, Nad Al Sheba Park will join the festivities with a dedicated Eid event in Dubai's rural areas. Taking place on the third day of Eid from 4pm to 7pm, the event will feature interactive educational and entertainment workshops, alongside appearances by beloved children's characters Modhesh and Dana. Traditional Harbiya performances and a range of cultural and heritage activities will also be on offer.
Children's City will also host celebrations on the first and third days of Eid from 4pm to 7pm. Young visitors can enjoy games, competitions, and the distribution of gifts and sweets in an interactive environment designed to promote participation and cooperation.
Safety and sanitation drive
With thousands expected to flock to beaches and parks, DM has rolled out an expanded holiday inspection drive. More than 2,800 sanitation engineers and nearly 800 vehicles have been deployed across the emirate to ensure food safety, public hygiene, and compliance with health standards during the festive period.
The inspection drives will target high-activity locations, including Waterfront Market, Dubai Food Hub, shopping malls, and key attractions including parks and beached.
What's being inspected?
The Municipality's teams are conducting intensive checks at hundreds of establishments that typically see a surge in demand during Eid. These include:
Food outlets: Over 150 food establishments at event venues and shopping mall food courts have already been inspected. Special attention is being given to Eid favourites like nuts, sweets, chocolates, baked goods, and fresh produce.
Beauty and wellness: Around 300 men's barber shops, 100 women's beauty centres, and 30 fitness centres are being checked for proper sterilisation of tools and general hygiene.
Hotels and entertainment: Approximately 40 hotels, 40 entertainment venues, and more than 150 shisha cafés are under scrutiny. Swimming pools are being tested for safety, including the presence of certified lifeguards and proper disinfectant levels.
Amusement rides: All rides at entertainment venues are being inspected before public use to ensure safety.
Henna safety: A special campaign is underway to test henna samples in laboratories, ensuring the popular Eid tradition is safe for all.
Labour camps: The Municipality is also focusing on worker welfare, with inspection campaigns covering more than 700 labour accommodations in Muhaisnah, Al Quoz, and Jebel Ali.
Massive operations
A massive cleanliness operation is in place across Dubai's roads, residential areas, markets, public beaches, and waterways. A total of 2,876 sanitation staff and 280 supervisors are working around the clock to maintain the city's appearance during the holiday rush.
At Dubai's customs ports, specialised teams are working around the clock, using digital systems to track and test imported food before it enters the market. A risk-based data system ensures high-priority items are inspected quickly.
Dubai Municipality has also urged residents to do their part and check product validity when buying food and ensure proper storage. Anyone with concerns can report issues through the Dubai 24/7 app or call the contact centre on 800900.
