As Dubai gears up for an epic New Year's Eve 2026 celebration on December 31, the emirate is taking every step to ensure it is a smooth and enjoyable experience for residents and visitors.
In a move aimed at ensuring family-friendly celebrations, Dubai Municipality had announced last week that public beaches will be designated for families only on New Year's Eve.
The DM has announced that four public beaches will be designated for families only during the New Year 2026 holiday, starting from December 31, 2025 until January 1, 2026.
The designated beaches are:
Jumeirah Beach 2
Jumeirah Beach 3
Umm Suqeim Beach 1
Umm Suqeim Beach

This measure is part of a comprehensive readiness plan focused on public safety and comfort, implemented in full coordination with Dubai Police, the Roads and Transport Authority, and the Dubai Resilience Centre.
The plan covers beaches, public parks, recreational facilities, waste management, public health, safety, and food safety.
