Dubai to get 3 hospitals, 33 health centres by 2033, Sheikh Hamdan says

Dubai will get three hospitals and 33 primary healthcare centres by 2033, the emirate's Crown Prince announced.

Under a healthcare system plan, the emirate is also set to get specialised centres to provide services across rural and newly developed areas, said Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, UAE Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence.

During a recent meeting of the Executive Council of Dubai, Sheikh Hamdan also approved several key policies. Among them is a new initiative to boost the enrollment of Emirati students in private schools, specifically those rated ‘Good’ or higher, by simplifying the admission process.

In support of family wellbeing, the council established a Unified Family Care Centre to provide guidance and support services. Additionally, the endorsement of a Smart Buildings Policy marked a commitment to sustainability, focusing on energy and water conservation through the adoption of advanced technologies — an effort expected to reduce operational costs across the emirate.
