Around 200 bikers are expected to hit the streets of Dubai this Sunday, May 18, for the second edition of the Distinguished Gentleman's Ride Arabia (DGR Arabia), aimed at raising awareness for men's health issues, including prostate cancer research and mental health programmes.
The ride, organised by the Piston Kings Motorcycle Community and supported by the Emirates Motorsports Organisation (EMSO), will begin at Dubai Marine Beach Resort & Spa, with participants dressed in dapper attire reflecting the event's vintage theme.
The global event, which unites classic and vintage motorcycle enthusiasts in over 1,000 cities worldwide, first began in 2012 and has raised millions for men's health initiatives through its partnership with Movember.

"We are thrilled to host the Distinguished Gentleman's Ride Arabia again. This event not only celebrates the spirit of motorcycling but also highlights crucial men's health issues," said Khan FM, founder of Piston Kings.
Atiq Hassan Mubarak, senior coordinator at EMSO, said the ride underlines the importance of men's health, particularly in workplaces, while bringing together motorcycle enthusiasts from across the UAE and the wider region.
Registration is mandatory, with details about the route and safety protocols provided upon confirmation. Participants are encouraged to register early to secure their spot.
International Female Ride Day
The Distinguished Gentleman's Ride Arabia comes just days after the 19th International Female Ride Day (IFRD) on May 3, which saw more than 60 female bikers from 35 nationalities take to the roads of Dubai. Starting from Last Exit Dubai and ending at The Farm Restaurant in Al Barari, the 67-kilometer ride was part of a synchronised celebration of female motorcyclists worldwide.
The UAE's event, backed by EMSO and coordinated by Atiq Hassan Mubarak, also marked a historic first, synchronising with women's motorcycle groups in Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Egypt, and Jordan. Over 140 women from across the region joined a live virtual conference call to mark the occasion.
