Customs workshops on property rights
DUBAI - Dubai Customs has launched a series of workshops to apprise the Customs authorities in the GCC countries of the latest methods being used for protection of intellectual property rights (IPR).

The workshops, which commenced on Nov 25 and will run until November 29, are being held at the Dubai Customs Headquarters to teach new customs inspectors about the methods used in detecting and identifying counterfeit and pirated goods.
International companies along with their legal offices and counsellors are participating in the workshops and giving presentations on the difference between genuine and fake products.
