Video shows teacher dragging, beating schoolboy in Sharjah

A teacher at a school in Dhaid located in Sharjah, was caught on camera beating up a 13-year-old student.

The schoolboy's father reported the teacher to the police and the Ministry of Education after medical reports showed the severity of the beating.

A YouTube video published by Emarat Al Youm Arabic language daily shows the teacher beating and then dragging the student across one of the school's corridors.

The video description states that the boy suffered bruises and had to be transferred to Dhaid Hospital.
