Dubai Police has fined the organiser of a private house party Dh50,000 for violating social distancing and Covid-19 precautionary measures.

The authority took to Twitter to post a video of the private party, in which identities have been blurred out to protect anonymity.
It further noted that a fine of Dh15,000 has been issued for every participant in the party for failing to adhere to the mandatory health and safety protocols.
Dubai has been cracking down on violators of Covid-19 precautionary measures amid a surge in daily infection cases across the UAE.
Members of the public have been asked to report any violations they spot by calling Dubai Police.
This is the third such crowded party to be busted this week.
The police had busted a desert camp and a yacht party for breaking Covid safety rules.
Authorities in Dubai have tightened the number of guests allowed at parties and weddings. Social events and private parties must host only first-degree relatives, with a maximum of 10 guests.
