The UAE expressed its solidarity with India over the victims of a factory explosion in Telangana, which killed and injured dozens of people.
In a statement, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed its sincere condolences to the families and relatives of the victims, and to the government and friendly people of India, wishing a speedy recovery to all those injured.
At least 10 people died and 14 were injured after a reactor explosion triggered a fire at a Sigachi Industries unit in India's Telangana state on Monday, Business Standard reported, citing news agency PTI.

The pharmaceutical company's shares fell more than 13 per cent to their lowest in a month and were on course to post their steepest fall since mid-March 2024.
The incident occurred at the Sigachi Chemical Industry unit in Telangana, Business Standard reported, adding that 11 fire tenders were rushed to the spot and were engaged in firefighting operations.
Sigachi services various industries, including pharmaceutical, food, cosmetic, and chemical.
