UAE strongly condemned the drone attack that targeted the logistics support base affiliated with the United Nations Interim Security Force for Abyei in the city of Kadugli in the Republic of Sudan.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs affirmed, in a statement, that the UAE expresses its strong condemnation of this heinous attack and its permanent rejection of all forms of violence aimed at undermining security and stability.

The Ministry renewed its emphasis on the United Arab Emirates' strong condemnation of attacks targeting peacekeeping forces, affirming that targeting the United Nations Interim Security Force for Abyei constitutes a violation of international law and Security Council Resolution 2802.
The Ministry expressed the UAE's full solidarity with the United Nations international peacekeeping forces and with the countries participating in them.
The Ministry also expressed its sincere condolences and sympathies to the families and relatives of the victims, to the interim government in the People's Republic of Bangladesh, to the Bangladeshi people, and to the United Nations, and conveyed its wishes for a speedy recovery to the injured.
