The magazine, which has been issued in pursuance of the directives of the President, His Highness Shaikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, aims at upgrading the standard of awareness on environmental issues in children.
The new issue contains topics and drawings that reflect the views and ideas of kids on different problems and matters pertaining to the environment. These include rationalising the use of water and electricity, air pollution, marine environment and cleanliness of environment. Features to the magazine came from Qatar and Abu Dhabi Educational zone.
According to News Editor Emmad Saad, the magazine would enable the children to highlight their creative work and talent regarding the preservation of environment. The magazine, he said, would serve a platform for children to exchange views on environment "as they are the targeted segment for spreading the environmental awareness."
