Car bursts into flames in UAE, scorches another vehicle

One car was completely engulfed while the front end of the second car had been scorched as well.

A massive fire broke out in two cars at the Nakheel area in Ras Al Khaimah. The reason for the car bursting into fire is still unknown. 
Official sources with the RAK Civil Defence department said that one of the two cars suddenly caught fire. The car was quickly engulfed in flames and scorched the adjacent car too. The bonnet of the second car was damaged in the fire. 
After being alerted of the blaze, the central operations room of the RAK Police dispatched traffic police, ambulances, paramedics and rescue teams to the site in a record time.
The civil defence firefighters managed to put out the fire, and no human casualties were reported in the car fire which started in the front of the car and quickly spread. 
On arriving at the site, the well-trained firefighters managed to put out the flames using water and foam, and cooled down the two cars.  
The RAK Civil Defense has urged all drivers to do regular maintenance service to control any possible fuel or oil leaks which can lead to fire accidents. 
Investigations are on to identify the reason behind the fire, the official stated. "The fire case has been referred to the Al Mamura police station to identify the owners of the two cars, and find out the reason behind the blaze."
