As part of Rotana Earth, the Global Corporate Sustainability Platform, Capital Centre Arjaan by Rotana in partnership with SEDRA Foundation, Abu Dhabi hosted a Healthy food habits workshop and organized a field trip to Ferrari World Abu Dhabi for the winners of a SEDRA Family Coaching Competition.

The workshop was held in the meeting rooms of Capital Centre Arjaan Hotel, where the people of determination attended a training session by Environment, Health & Safety Officer Saif Rehman and a healthy sandwich making workshop by Executive Chef Marina Akhmedova. The learning experience touched upon the importance of a balanced diet and incorporating vital nutrients. The workshop was tailored to suit the learning curve of home-coached people of determination, giving a practical and personalized approach with active participation. After the workshop the participants spent the day at Ferrari World, Abu Dhabi where they had fun doing several group activities and enjoying some thrilling rides.
In this regard, General Manager Chadi Nicolas said "We are extremely glad to have been given the opportunity by SEDRA Foundation to host these people of determination and share our passion for hospitality with them." He further added "I look forward to work in partnership with SEDRA Foundation in the near future and contribute to the development of the people of determination through active learning that we can offer from our industry"
Expressing her joyful satisfaction about the success of this Arjaan-SEDRA collaboration, Renate Baur-Richter, SEDRA Program Manager said: "Access to non-formal independent learning and guided exposure to socio-cultural experiences are probably the most effective tools the development of life skills. That is particularly true for people of determination. Events such as the Arjaan-SEDRA Edutainment Workshop cum Trip benefit one and all involved - not only the participating people of determination. Because, inclusion is not an autopilot or one-way traffic. The navigation of an inclusive project however small scale requires a continued communication among all parties; which eventually gets everyone connected and engaged in one way or the other." Reem Al Fahim, the SEDRA CEO extended her hearty congratulations to all participants and collaborators of the event and added: "We are very much confident that our future Inclusion journey with Arjaan will be even more exciting and rewarding."
