Dubai residents and visitors will soon experience the magic of Bollywood as Bollywood Parks Dubai is set to open its doors in October this year.
"We cannot wait to welcome people into Bollywood Parks Dubai this October," Thomas Jellum, general manager of the Bollywood-themed park, told reporters on Monday.
"Bollywood is cherished and adored not just by people in the region, but by a large global audience and we are positive that the park will be the hottest destination in Dubai this year."
An annual pass to Bollywood Parks Dubai is initially pegged at Dh755 per person to enjoy a year of unlimited admission to experience the action, music, drama and glamour of one of the world's largest film industries.
The theme park is partitioned into Bollywood Boulevard, Mumbai Chowk, Rustic Ravine, Royal Plaza and Bollywood Film Studios featuring Hall of Heroes.
"Each attraction at Bollywood Parks Dubai has been carefully crafted," said Stanford Pinto, chief operating officer of Dubai Parks and Resorts.
According to park operators, "visitors will experience bold action, colourful story-telling and captivating dance sequences inspired by nine popular films such as Rock On!!, Don, Lagaan, Sholay, Dabangg, Mughal-e-Azam, Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara, RA.One and Krrish.
