Blood donation camp in Bur Dubai today

Dubai - The Science of Spirituality's 21st blood donation camp will be held at the Sindhi Ceremonial Centre, Meena Bazar, Bur Dubai.

The Science of Spirituality (SOS) Dubai, a multi-faith non-profit organisation, is hosting its 21st blood donation camp today at the Sindhi Ceremonial Centre, Meena Bazar, Bur Dubai.
The initiative, taken under the supervision and authority of Latifa Hospital for nearly 10 years now, is being conducted to do a service to mankind.
Donating blood doesn't only benefit the one who may receive blood but it also helps the donor. Years of medical research proves that blood flow gets much better with regular donation of blood. Along with improved blood flow, iron levels are in check, and there is boost in the production of red blood cells every time blood is donated by an individual.
SOS Dubai believes that donating blood is the greatest charity one can do. It is a selfless service where the donor does not whose life their blood will be saving. According to Latifa Hospital more than 3,000 successful donors have donated blood with SOS Dubai in about 10 years, which has helped to serve and make a positive difference to an approximation of 10,000 lives in one way or another.
