Khaleej Times is live in Baikonur, Kazakhstan and is tracking all activities taking place before and during the historic mission of UAE's first astronaut, Hazzaa AlMansoori. He is scheduled to lift off to the International Space Station (ISS) on September 25.
Here are the live updates:

September 23 - The Soyuz FG rocket that will take UAE's first astronaut Hazza Al Mansoori into space has been put into position for his historic mission launching on September 25.
The rocket was brought out of its garage, travelled 2km and was then verticalised and put into position at the launch site.
The next step will be fuelling the rocket and bringing the Soyuz spacecraft onboard to get it ready for liftoff.
Sultan Al Neyadi, the backup astronaut, came out of quarantine to watch the verticalisation. His family and Al Mansoori's family were also present. They are in town to see the launch.
