Bangladesh artistes set to enthral expats

DUBAI - The Bangladeshi community in Dubai and the Northern Emirates will be enthralled by a mega-musical and dance gala show that will be held at the Ajman Beach Hotel on October 2.

The musical extravaganza will bring together over 5,000 music lovers from all over Dubai and Northern Emirates and feature some of the top Bangladeshi singers.

Ayoub Bacchu, one of the most popular pop stars of Bangladesh, who is also called the king of band music, will debut in the UAE. With his electrifying and synthetic vocal he has topped popularity charts in Bangladesh during the last 15 years.


He has more than 100 solo and mixed albums to his credit. Ankhi Alamgir, the young and glamourous singer of Bangladesh films and television, is yet another attraction of the show. Daughter of the popular Bangladeshi hero Alamgir, this is Ankhi's second visit to the country. Earlier she had performed to a packed audience in Dubai and Al Ain.

Teenage Bangladeshi heroine and a sought-after performer Sonia will set the stage alive with her presence. She is one of the most popular actresses of Bangladesh and is sure to charm the expatriate population here. Jahangir Alam, Moutushi and upcoming singer Barsha will also perform.
