Award of distinction for high school graduates

The prestigious academic award was first launched in 1994 by the Al Fahim Group to commemorate the achievements of late Abdul Jalil Al Fahim, the group's founder and to promote education among the nation's youth.

A total of 20 outstanding students will be selected from the country's public schools and they will be given a cash award of Dh10,000 each, Mohammed Abdul Jalil Al Fahim, who heads the award's Board of Trustees, told a press conference, announcing the launch of the award for the year.

“As we announce the award today, we would like to encourage our sons and daughters at this particular time as they prepare for their final examinations. As this stage is undoubtedly one of th most definitive period of their lives, we urge them to redouble their efforts so as to achieve excellence and distinction,” said Al Fahim.

The award is presented by the Al Fahim Group of companies.
