UAE authority warns of unlicensed firm 'CMV Capitals Financing Broker'

UAE's Capital Management Authority has alerted investors of an unlicensed entity, warning the public to refrain from engaging with the firm.

The entity, termed 'CMV Capitals Financing Broker' is "not licensed or authorised to carry out regulated financial activities or provide related services," CMA said.

The firm is based in Dubai, according to the alert. The CMA warned the public that it "accepts no responsibilty" for any transactions or dealings with the entity.

Authorities also advised investors to verify the licensing status of any entity before entering into agreements or transferring funds. Doing due diligence before financially engaging with any business will help individuals to avoid potential fraud.
