UAE's first astronaut Hazzaa AlMansoori, who is set to return to Earth in less than 24 hours, has been keeping himself busy. Apart from carrying out scheduled experiments and regular video calls with his countrymen back on Earth, the astronaut has been sharing stunning photographs from the International Space Station.

The latest one is that of the UAE taken at night. The photo shows the brightly lit bustling cities, while it's relatively darker in the desert areas.

Earlier on Wednesday, Hazzaa shared a breathtaking picture of the holiest site in Islam - The Grand Mosque (Masjid Al Haram) in Saudi Arabia's Makkah.

Taking to Instagram, the first UAE astronaut in space took the picture as he orbits around in the International Space Station.

On Tuesday, he had shared another picture of the UAE from space.
