Asian man commits suicide by hanging
The body of an unidentified Asian man, believed to be in his early thirties, was yesterday found hanging with one end of the rope forming a noose around his neck and the other tied to a hook in the ceiling.
The Dubai Police were informed by a watchman around 10am that a body was found in an apartment near Falasi Mosque in the Satwa area.
The police did not find any identification documents from the deceased’s pockets or the room.
However, the tenants who lived in the other rooms of the same apartment told the police they had no information about the man.
The body has been sent for forensic examination.
Police investigations are on to ascertain the identity of the deceased and the cause of his death.
