All set for sixth auction of car number plates today

Some of the most sought-after number plates will be up for grabs at the auction, including the number '1', and it's expected that this number might fetch a record-breaking price. Already, people are expecting to fetch higher than what the number '5' had fetched earlier - Dh25.2 million!

Preparations for the auction are under way, Lieutenant Colonel Abdul Rahman Al Kamali, director of Administration of Privatisation and Financial Investments at the Abu Dhabi Police, said.
