His Highness Sheikh Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ajman, has issued a decision to provide Dh5 million to the fishermen in the emirate who are members of the Ajman Cooperative Society for Fishermen.

The decision is aimed to encourage citizens working in the field, to support them and their families, and also to provide a solution to the problems that they may be facing.

According to Arabic daily Al Bayan, the decision will be implemented before the holy month of Ramadan.

Ahmed Ibrahim Al Ghamlassi, chairman of the Crown Prince's Office, and the head of Ajman Cooperative Society for Fishermen, said that the decision includes only the fishermen who are citizens and have licence to work in field and are members of the cooperative society, adding that he appreciates the generous gesture from Ajman Ruler.
