Pay Ajman traffic fines in installments under new plan

Ajman - No interest rate will be collected against the installment plan.

Having hefty or accumulated traffic fines? No worries. You can pay the same now in installment, according to the Ajman Police.
The move followed an agreement inked by Major-General Sheikh Sultan bin Abdullah Al Nuaimi, Commander-in-Chief of Ajman Police, and Salah Mohammed Amin, CEO Emirates Islamic Bank (EIB).
"The move is meant to bring happiness to the public and help them pay due fines in easy installment," said Maj-Gen Nuaimi.
Erring drivers may now pay due the traffic fines registered in Ajman in 12 installments, he explained.
"However, this installment plan is only applicable to the fines worth Dh1,000 and more."
The plan is also exclusive to customers of the Emirates Islamic Bank, he pointed out.
"No interest rate shall be collected against the installment plan which is available on the customers holding the EIB credit cards."
