Road fatalities in Ajman dropped by 50 per cent during the first four months of this year, the Ajman Police have said. Three people died in traffic accidents during this period as compared to six last year, according to recent statistics.
Traffic accidents dropped by 53 per cent in the first four months this year, with 32 serious road mishaps being recorded compared to 68 during the same period in 2019.

Run-over accidents dropped by 54 per cent, the police revealed. The cases of injuries caused by traffic accidents came down by 57 per cent as compared to last year.
As many as 1,871 vehicles were impounded for safe movement of traffic, the police added.
According to Al Bayan, Brigadier Khalid Mohammed Al Nuaimi, deputy director-general of police operations at the Ajman Police, said that the Ajman Police are committed to maintaining road safety by reducing the number of serious traffic accidents.
