Video: Indian expat wins Dh15million in Abu Dhabi raffle

Abu Dhabi - Kalathil won with his ticket number 101341. He bought the ticket on June 25.

A Dubai-based Indian expatriate won Dh15 million in the Big Ticket Abu Dhabi draw held on Friday.
Noufel Mayan Kalathil, the new multi-millionaire, was watching the draw live on Facebook as his name was announced.

"I am at home. I was watching this live. I am so excited. I am sharing the prize money with 20 other people. Thank you very much," Kalathil told Richard from Big Ticket.

Win a ticket every month
The organisers have announced a new promotion 'Living the Dream' by which a lucky person will be able to win a ticket every month for the rest of the year.
From July 13 to 24, people have been asked to submit videos of maximum 15 seconds on talents or hobbies acquired during quarantine. One person will win a Big Ticket every month for the rest of the year.
Also, if a person has purchased a Big Ticket between January 1 and June 30, he or she stands a chance to be one of the 12 lucky winners to win two tickets for the draw on August 2. The names will be announced on July 12.
