Pompeo calls Sheikh Mohamed, discusses regional and bilateral issues

Pompeo thanked Sheikh Mohamed for his strong partnership with the US in combating the coronavirus pandemic.

His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, on Thursday received a phone call from Mike Pompeo, Secretary of the State of the United States.
During the call, Sheikh Mohamed and Pompeo discussed regional and bilateral issues of concern, including agreeing on the need for a ceasefire in Libya and return to UN-led political negotiations.

Had an important conversation with Emirati Crown Prince Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan on increasing regional stability and supporting a lasting @UN-brokered ceasefire in Libya. Grateful for our strong partnership in combatting the global COVID-19 pandemic.
