If you're lucky enough to step inside the Palace Suite of Emirates Palace in Abu Dhabi, chances are you're a celebrity, world leader, or simply someone who enjoys the very best in life. Regardless of which category you fall into, you would be awestruck by the luxury and warmth of Arabian hospitality, and so were we when Khaleej Times had the opportunity to see inside this world-class accommodation.
The Palace Suite is the most expensive at Abu Dhabi's iconic hotel priced at Dh55,000 per night. It has hosted several state leaders and celebrities including former US President Bill Clinton, the Queen of England, former UK prime minister Tony Blair, celebrities such as Elton John, Shakira and Bon Jovi, as well as members of the royal family from Saudi Arabia, Kuwait and Bahrain.
With a total area of 680 square metres, the suite represents luxury at its finest with a spacious living area, elegant dining room and three majestic bedrooms. The VIPs can rest assured they'll have a safe and sound sleep as most of the doors are bullet proof.
Another remarkable feature is a personal elevator that takes you from the fifth floor of the hotel to the suite. Next to the elevator is an exquisite majlis-style lounge where guests can hold important meetings. The suite is directly connected to a pantry where butlers are available 24 hours to accomplish the guest's every request.

The bathrooms are so huge that you could live there. The furniture decorations are plated with 24 carat gold. The walls are covered with pure silk imported from India under Swarovski crystal chandeliers. Other highlights include a private dining area for 10 people. The serving plates are gold-plated, the forks are silver and the glasses are made of crystal with each glass costing more than Dh1,000.
Every bedroom has a terrace that features uninterrupted views of the Arabian sea.
While the largest of the three bedrooms, called the Diamond Suite, would cost you Dh33,000 per night and the other two bedroom suites known as the Coral and Pearl suites each cost between Dh10,000 and Dh16,000 a night. You could either book all the three bedrooms at Dh55,000 per night or just one or two of them, and still live like a king or a queen.
