Recognising the efforts of the Abu Dhabi Police in keeping residents safe amid the pandemic, Baskin Robbins has treated them to a well-deserved ice cream break in a recent two-day CSR activity.
Baskin Robbins took its ice cream truck - loaded with a wide range of lip-smacking flavours and toppings - to the police's traffic department, brightening up their day with some delicious dessert.
"The Abu Dhabi Police and the Traffic and Patrols Directorate's work will remain engraved in history and will never be forgotten. Their efforts highlight the strong determination to maintain the health of the community, aligned with the goals of the UAE's leadership," a spokesperson of Baskin Robbins said.
The traffic police have worked tirelessly not only to protect residents and raise awareness, but also to encourage responsible behaviour on the road, be it during regular traffic hours or during the sterilisation period, the firm added.
Galadari Ice Cream Co Ltd., a Baskin Robbins franchisee for more than 40 years, operates close to 900 Baskin Robins stores across the Middle East and North Africa. It is also joint venture partner of Dunkin' Brands for the Baskin Robbins business in Australia, where there are currently more than 80 locations.
Baskin Robbins is the world's largest chain of ice cream specialty stores, providing guests with a wide array of ice cream flavours and delicious treats at more than 8,000 retail shops in 32 countries around the world. The brand was founded by two ice cream enthusiasts whose passion for ice cream led to the creation of several iconic flavours, including Pralines 'n Cream, Jamoca Almond Fudge and Very Berry Strawberry.
