Abu Dhabi government's digital platforms proved quite popular among residents and businesses, helping save over 16 million visits to the customer service centres last year.
The digital platforms offer more than 1,000 services to the emirate's residents and business community. In total, more than eight millions digital transactions were conducted during last year.
The emirate is marking March 2020 as a "Digital Month" to further drive the UAE leadership's vision to utilise information technology to better serve the community and advance government services. The newly launched initiative comes within the efforts exerted by various government entities in Abu Dhabi to enhance customer experience through innovative digital services and solutions.
"Abu Dhabi government's digital services saved more than 16m visits to customer service centres through 8m digital transactions in 2019. The shift showcases the continuous development of Abu Dhabi's digital ecosystem to reach more than 1,000 digital services," Abu Dhabi Media Office tweeted on Monday.
The UAE, which is already leading the region in adopting digital technology, is encouraging the use of its digital services, especially after the outbreak of coronavirus in the country to ensure safety of the residents.
