The General Command of Abu Dhabi Police formally acknowledged his efforts, with Brigadier Hamdan Saif Al Mansoori, Director of the Al Dhafra Region Police Directorate, presenting him with a gift in appreciation of an initiative that exemplified community responsibility and cooperation.
This gesture of recognition is part of a wider culture of integrity in the UAE.
In Abu Dhabi, an Asian expatriate was similarly honoured for returning a sum of money he found, with police presenting him a gift for his commendable honesty.
The man had handed over the undisclosed amount to the Capital Police Directorate at Khalidiya Police Station.
Earlier, in November, Ajman Police also recognised a young girl for her honesty after she returned money she found in a public place, reflecting the UAE’s ongoing commitment to celebrating integrity and civic-minded actions.
