Abu Dhabi shuts down restaurant over food safety violations

The restaurant was found in breach of law governing food safety in the emirate along with related regulations

A restaurant in Abu Dhabi has been ordered to be closed for posing a "significant risk to public health".
The Abu Dhabi Agriculture and Food Safety Authority (ADAFSA) informed about the closure of Mahashi Time restaurant, located in Mohammed Bin Zayed City, East 9 of Abu Dhabi, in a social media post.
The restaurant was found in breach of law governing food safety in Abu Dhabi, along with related regulations.

ADAFSA routinely clamps down on eateries for non-compliance with food safety rules. A few days ago, it ordered closure of Tasif Restaurant located in Al Shaham. Last week, it shut down Strong Tea Cafeteria in Mohamed Bin Zayed City.
