Abu Dhabi Crown Prince to meet Trump, lead UAE delegation to Gulf-US summit in Riyadh

Trump is now in Saudi Arabia, and has already signed deals worth hundreds of billions of dollars, and made some surprise announcements

Abu Dhabi Crown Prince will lead the UAE delegation at the Gulf-US summit in Riyadh today, where GCC leaders will meet US President Donald Trump.

On a "historic" visit to the Middle East, Trump is now in Saudi Arabia, and has already signed deals worth hundreds of billions of dollars, and made some surprise announcements.

In a major shift in US-Syria relations, the White House confirmed Trump will meet Syrian leader Ahmad Al Shara on May 14. The US also lifted sanctions on Syria, "to give them a chance at greatness," Trump announced.

Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, will lead the Emirates' delegation to the summit on behalf of the UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

During Trump's visit to the region, he will also visit UAE. The three-country tour covers Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and UAE, from May 13 to May 16.
