8 Asians involved in car theft nabbed in Ajman

A gang comprising eight men, who used to dupe and loot motorists, was arrested in Ajman on Thursday.
Ajman Police said that the Asian culprits had stolen Dh100,000 and $10.000 kept in a man's car and Dh4,000 from the hand bag of an Arab woman.
While the police was investigating this case, another complain was received from a woman who said that someone approached her and informed her that oil was leaking from her car. When she got off to check the leakage, another person snatched her hand bag which content Dh4000 and IDs cards.
The police formed special team to probe into the complaints and arrested the culprits. Though the suspects resisted the police team who came to arrest them from their house, finally they gave in.
During the interrogation, they confessed their crimes and the police referred the case to public persecution.
Col Al Matroushi, hailed the efforts of professional CID officers who dealt with the crime professionally and also urged the public to be cautious while carrying big amount of money.
