The Sharjah Roads and Transport Authority (SRTA) has developed 150 new parking spaces, worth Dh1.1 million, for the visitors of the Al Noof Park-3.
"The new parking spaces will help control traffic, reduce congestion and avoid random parking in front of the park," according to Eng Sheikha Al Zuwain, director of roads contracts department, SRTA.
The SRTA has also developed some internal roads to connect these new parking spaces.
Recently, the SRTA announced an ambitious plan to build up to 1,328 parking spaces, worth Dh20 million, around all Sharjah mosques in two years.
The ongoing and planned infrastructure projects are in pursuance of the directives of His Highness Sheikh Dr Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah to ensure the convenience of all locals and residents alike.
"Sharjah RTA is working on a thorough ambitious plan to develop the entire road network in the emirate, leave alone regular maintenance as per the latest international standards."
"We are more than ready to respond to customers' feedbacks and complaints."
Sharjah Roads and Customers Call Centre is reachable 24/7 at (600525252), he said. "Our staff attendants are ready to address all feedbacks, inquiries, remarks and complaints."
