1,000 labourers benefit from free medical camp

AL AIN - More than 1,000 labourers from various companies benefited from the free medical camp organised jointly by Al Fara'a Construction and Industrial Group and the Indian Social Centre in Mezyad area of Al Ain on Friday.

The medical camp was inaugurated by Dr Mathar Salem Al Darmaki, director of Jimi Hospital, Al Ain.

More than 25 doctors from different departments like cardiology, ENT, gynaecology, paediatrics, gastroenterology, urology and orthopaedics and paramedical staff helped the labourers.

The camp was organised with the approval of the General Authority for Medical Services - Eastern Medical Region and in association with Kerala Medical Graduates - Abu Dhabi and Pharma Land LLC, Al Ain.

New Medical Centre (NMC), Al Ain, extended their support by distributing medicines.

In his statement, J. R. Gangaramani, chairman and managing director of Al Fara'a Construction and Industrial Group, said the group would continue the effort to improve the social wellbeing of the employees as well as the community as a whole.
