[Editor's noted: UAE residents can now enter for Dh52.50 during the Eid holidays, following the temporary closure due to overwhelming crowds]
The Dubai Miracle Garden has temporarily closed its gates due to overwhelming crowds, as Eid Al Fitr brings families and residents flocking to the city’s floral paradise.
Officials said the decision was made “to ensure the safety and comfort of our visitors” and apologised for the inconvenience, urging the public to understand the situation.
The closure comes as part of a special initiative that has drawn unprecedented attention — from March 15 to 31, UAE residents were invited to enjoy free entry to the floral wonderland simply by presenting a valid Emirates ID.

Open daily from 9am to 9pm, the offer was designed to give families and residents a chance to unwind and enjoy quality time in the run-up to Eid.
Earlier, authorities had said that visitors required no reservation and that there was no limit on the number of guests, encouraging spontaneous visits.
The surge in visitors, however, has exceeded expectations, prompting the temporary pause.
Officials also added that they will review the situation and advise for tomorrow, if new procedures are needed to manage crowds safely.
