Missed the grand New Year's Eve show at Downtown Dubai on December 31? Fret not. You can still enjoy a part of the special light-and-sound show and performances that stunned the crowds at the Dubai Fountain.
Emaar had announced that this year's festivities will span eight days — kicking off on December 31 in the shadow of the Burj Khalifa and continuing until January 7.
In keeping with that promise, the NYE show at the Dubai Fountain will continue every evening at 7:30, till Wednesday, January 7. The regular Dubai Fountain shows, which usually happen every half an hour in the evening, have been cancelled from 7:30 to 9pm.

Fountain shows will play as scheduled at 6:30pm and 7pm, and will resume from 9pm, Emaar announced on Friday.
The Dubai Fountain put on a magical display on New Year's Eve, with water stunts, synchronised dancers on decorated floats, laser shows and more. While it was a ticketed event on December 31, visitors can now watch the fountain show for free.
Arab influencer Omar Farooq had taken his followers behind the scenes, showing dance rehearsals taking place for parades and shows, swimmers in the dancing fountains to people walking on a rope from Dubai Mall to Burj Khalifa.
